The Rextar can be used in conjunction with film or any digital sensor. Digital images can be displayed with in seconds of the image being captured.

The interface of the PC can display images from intra-oral cameras, digital images, and images that have been scanned using the Roviscan.

Being portable, this machine can be used in remote locations and when used with a digital sensor; we recommend the Kodak 5100 or Kodak 6100, the image can be displayed instantly.

The Rextar is ideal for the operating room, remote locations where a standard x-ray is not available, use by the Defence Forces, Forensics, Royal Flying Doctors, Oil rigs etc.

The Rextar is light weight and compact which allows for ease of use and quick results.

The battery is fully re-chargeable. On average the Rextar is capable of taking 300 – 400 images per full battery.
